TIP:
Use to stencil something impasto colors. Very scenic effects are obtained when the subject is not fully painted over but is only easily be spotted. The substrate may be partially shine through with.
The dabbing the template can be done either with the brush or with a sponge or cloth. Also spraying and filling techniques on offer.
If continuous borders are stencilled, the overlapping part, after drying, remove the template briefly with a hairdryer. This smearing can be avoided when re-attach the template!
The template can be fixed with suitable adhesive tape.
